Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Anteater Involvement Fair, La Bienvenida, or came to our first meeting. Aside from Valerie leading the meeting barefoot and a dog appearance, here's a recap of what we went over:
- Join our Facebook Group page (different from our public page) for more immediate updates by searching "Chi Alpha Epsilon Zeta Rho Honor Society at UCI" and request to join.
- What is XAE?
- An honor society for first-generation and/or low income students at UCI that encourages academic excellence, leadership and service through study sessions, academic guidance, mentorship, involvement, volunteering and networking opportunities
- We work with UCI's Student Success Initiatives which supports first-gen/low-income students, former foster youth, and/or students with disabilities in their transitions into and out of college.
- Why Join?
- Receive a tassel to wear at graduation to recognize you as a high-achieving, first-gen/low-income student
- Workshops and resources to help you thrive in college and in finding a career
- Fun and friends!!

- Please visit the membership page of this website.
- Please contact us or come to a meeting before the end of Week 4 to turn in dues of 45$ (t-shirt included) for the entire year, or 20$ per quarter (without a t-shirt).
- Please submit T-shirt ideas if you have any! We're changing them this year!
